When organizations with similar missions, values and goals join together, the results are amazing. For CIS of Mid-America, it pretty much means we get so serve more students, more effectively! For the people we partner with, it also means we have the joy of developing professional friendships like Amanda’s and Victoria’s.

“I think it is pretty great to look back on the evolution of our partnership, and how it fits in the session that we presented: ‘Promising Practices in Partnerships’,” Victoria says.

Through the partnership Victoria and Amanda created, the Communities In Schools of Mid-America Reality U$ financial literacy program also receives some boosted attention as the Salina Area United Way took on the task of recruitment for the program, along with some of the fundraising initiatives, at Salina, Kansas, high schools.
