Cheri Faunce

Cheri Faunce has 15-years of experience in the nonprofit and government sectors engaging all levels of government, as well as private and corporate foundations. She currently serves as the Vice President of Resource Development and has been with the organization since 2016.

Before working at CIS, Cheri was the Director of Kansas Mentors, where she strengthened the capacity of youth-serving organizations and developed strategies to effectively use volunteers to solve problems. Cheri is passionate about empowering youth and meeting the community need through philanthropy.  She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and is a proud member of Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration.

Cheri and her husband Andrew (AJ) live in Topeka, Kansas, with their spunky 3rd grader, Adria, and their two dogs, Joshy and Herbert.
