Ellen Goodmann Miller serves as a community and resource development specialist for Dubuque, Iowa-based Gronen and she provides resource development, grant writing, strategic planning, and political consulting services through Hawks Goodmann & Associates.
Goodmann Miller has served as fund development and grants director for St Mark Youth Enrichment, Resource Development Director for Dubuque’s Historic Millwork District, and currently leads resource development on Dubuque’s $15 million Steeple Square revitalization. Ellen also works with Gronen Restoration on the continued redevelopment of Dubuque’s Historic Millwork District, HEART youth training and education program, and other key placemaking and historic restoration projects. She is the political director for the Ras for Iowa gubernatorial campaign and served as the Iowa deputy political director for Biden for President from 2019 to 2020.
Goodmann Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Drama/Speech from Clarke University. She serves on the Board of Dupaco Community Credit Union and has served on the boards of the Grand Opera House and Julien Dubuque International Film Festival. She resides in Dubuque, Iowa with her husband, Tom, and two daughters.
