Whitney Casement is an associate attorney at Stevens & Brand, LLP. She graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 2012. She started her legal career at the Office of the Kansas Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division. Whitney joined a private firm in 2017, focusing her practice on employment law, workers compensation, administrative law, and professional licensure actions. She is active in the bar, currently serving on the Topeka Bar Association Board of Directors and as Secretary of the Kansas Women Attorneys Association. In terms of community service, Whitney has volunteered mentoring women at Topeka Correctional Facility for many years, and coaches and referees in a children’s basketball league. She has a passion for wellbeing and mental health awareness, having given dozens of presentations on the topics. She and her husband, Daniel, have an almost-two-year-old daughter and a yellow Labrador Retriever named Magnolia (Maggie).
