PARSONS and PITTSBURG, KANSAS – Communities In Schools of Mid-America® (CIS of Mid-America™) is pleased to announce it has received a $4,000 Elm Acres Foundation grant through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas. Funding from this grant will provide support for students that CIS of Mid-America is currently serving at schools in Parsons and Pittsburg, Kansas.
The Elm Acres Foundation provides support to at-risk youth in the Southeast Kansas community (Crawford, Cherokee, and Labette Counties) and supports entities that provide services for at-risk youth, as well as supporting the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas.
