Bo’s Hog Wild Supports Communities In Schools of Mid-America

OTTAWA, KANSAS – Communities In Schools of Mid-America® (CIS of Mid-America™) is pleased to announce it has been chosen as a recipient of the 35th Annual Bo’s Hog Wild Children’s Fund.

The Bo’s Hog Wild Children’s Fund hosts an annual event to raise funds for local charities serving kids. Each year, approximately 700 guests attend the Brewfest & BBQ to sample beverages from local breweries, enjoy BBQ prepared by six pitmasters, have fun, and give back to their community.  

Funding from this event will support the CIS of Mid-America programs at Ottawa Middle School and Ottawa High School in Ottawa, KS, and Prairie Park Elementary School in Lawrence, KS.

This year, the event will be from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM on August 27 at 393 E. 1400 Rd in Baldwin City, KS. Participants can purchase tickets by making a suggested donation of $35 at
