• What are three words to describe Communities In Schools of Mid-America?
  • Kids, Empowering, Achievement

• What is your favorite thing about working at CIS of Mid-America?
  • Working with our staff behind the scenes to make their jobs easier so that they can focus on success for students. 

• What advice do you have for kids who are struggling in school?
  • It’s hard now, but you will get through. There is a light.

• What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
  • Coffee

• What is your favorite line from a movie?
  • “Nobody puts Baby in a corner” – Dirty Dancing

• Where is your favorite place to be?
  • Open-air. It could be anywhere, but I like to feel all the possibilities of the moment.

• Which cartoon character would you most like to switch lives with?
  • Donald Duck

• If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
  • Draw (I, of course, could learn but lack the patience!)

• If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring?
  • Midge and Ivy (my cats)
  • Cat food, practically speaking

• You’re hosting a dinner party. Who are the three people, living or dead, who you would invite, and why?
  • Sarah Michelle-Gellar (as Buffy the Vampire Slayer). She is very cool.
