The Site Sponsorship Program provides businesses with the opportunity to invest in their local Communities In Schools of Mid-America program by contributing financial support to a specific school (i.e. site) within their community. Students across the Kansas City Metro area face overwhelming challenges outside the classroom. Youth in our community experience food and housing insecurity. Many have inadequate access to physical and mental health care. Additional personal and systematic issues make it difficult to succeed in school. Challenges like these can seem insurmountable, leaving students hopeless and increasing their risk of dropping out.

The Communities In Schools (CIS) model is built to overcome these barriers so all students can succeed in school and beyond. At CIS of Mid-America, we see potential in every student, and we are committed to helping them see it too. We work inside schools, together with teachers, administration, and community members to help students reach their goals. Our unique approach works because it is based on national research, driven by relationships, and supported by local resources. Even more, kids need our support. The need for CIS of Mid-America is so great we keep a list of schools waiting on our help. That’s why we are asking for your support. Help us expand and transform the lives of Kansas City kids.

Yup, it’s just that easy!

Once each quarter, CIS of Mid-America can receive up to $500 from Dillons/Kroger.
